Sleazy Profiteer Now A Judge!

John "Jack" McConnell, the former Rhode Island plaintiff's (horrors!) mass torts attorney (aka "sleazy profiteer") nominated by President Obama to be a U.S. District Court Judge was confirmed following a cloture vote ending a filibuster.  McConnell's nomination has been the subject of a couple Bad Lawyer posts over the last year.  Congratulations to Judge McConnell.
