The Post and Courier is reporting on the crooked South Carolina judge who deposited some $11,000 + from fines the Judge imposed on citizens, into the Judge's private bank account. Magistrate judge, Carl Love has been ordered by Circuit Judge Ernest Kinard to make restitution. Judge Love was giving six months of house arrest for his crimes.
The light sentence given the disgraced Judge is surprising, because the criminal acts while petty were committed by a public official in his official capacity. These thefts were acts of commission by a sitting Judge. Wow!
