The Atlanta Journal Constitution is one of the country's most distinguished newspapers, check the Wikipedia article which documents the newspaper's multiple Pulitzer prizes and advocacy of civil rights, it is a great newspaper. I take very seriously the stories and so I am appalled by the continued coverage in the AJC of the problems with violence perpetrated by metro-Atlanta "safety" forces. That the AJC was able to do the hat trick with this morning's coverage says something Atlanta needs to pay attention to.
In part this is a running theme with law enforcement all around the country. This is especially true as it pertains to domestic violence by law enforcement personnel. The moving blog, Behind the Blue Wall does a powerful job of documenting the tragedy of these crimes and memorializing the victims of domestic violence by the police.
