What's Not to Love About the Police?

The last time we talked about New Mexico attorney Arlon Stoker, he had just successfully represented a stripper who waS subjected to an unreasonable search by the Flora Vista, Az cops.

Stoker strikes again with a $200,000. verdict for an Albuquerque man, Danny Manzarnares who was being interviewed by the police during a rape investigation.  Manzarnares (who was not the suspected perpetrator) originally agreed to be interviewed, but decided not to answer questions.  The Albuquerque cop locked Mazarnarnes who was not a suspect, was locked in the police car with the car radio on max volume for HOURS.  Cool, huh!

Stoker who gave us the memorable line, "if a stripper doesn't have rights..." had nothing as snappy to say, but did note that if anyone else had done what this Albuquerque policeman did, they'd be charged with kidnapping.
